SmartPacker U3 is designed for loading palletised cargo where all units must remain upright in the container. It combines multi-SKU flexibility (like T3) with an upright-only orientation constraint — essential for fragile, top-heavy, or liquid cargo.
U3 supports:
Define one or more pallet sizes to use in the plan. U3 supports both standard sizes (e.g. EUR, GMA) and custom non-standard dimensions. Set the Length, Width, and Height for each pallet type.
Add each cargo type with its dimensions and name. U3 enforces upright placement — cargo is placed with the designated top face always pointing up, regardless of how it is arranged horizontally.
You can edit cargo names and parameters at any time and immediately see the loading pattern update.
Like T3, U3 features an interactive cargo-quantity panel with red/green indicators:

Beyond automated calculation, U3 supports manual editing — you can directly adjust the placement of individual units in the 2D editing view. This is useful when you need to accommodate real-world constraints like access gaps, weight distribution, or loading order.
U3 offers both a 2D editing view (top-down, for precise placement) and a 3D rotation view (for inspection). You can switch between views at any time. The 3D view supports pallet-by-pallet breakdown — step through each pallet layer to verify the loading sequence.
